Bored bored bored and waiting for the Nyquil to kick in.


Currently watching Slumdog Millionaire and it's aight so far. India is a pretty fucked up place it seems. Danny Boyle seems to make it kinda nice lookin though. Then again he made heroin fashionable so maybe he's not a good example to go by.
This isn't my favorite movie from last year though. That belong to this little gem.



Yeah Mickey schooled it. Somehow the fucker made his leathery face work for him. The only bad parts of the movie were whenever Evan Rachel Wood was on screen. She after school specialed her way through the film. I've never been all that convinced she was a good actress. Most movies I've seen her in sucked.
It didn't matter though Mickey ate the scenery every time.

When I saw the trailer in the summer I already knew I was gonna love this film. When it came out two weeks ago I rushed right out to buy it sight unseen and it did not disapoint. The film is stunning visually and while each of the songs varied from being cool to down right shit (that would be everytime Paris Hilton opened her mouth) it had Anthony Stewart Head and that just makes everything better.
If you don't agree well, eat a dick.

I'm glad I'm back in the movie swing of things. It's all I got to look forward to these days. I just wish I had time for more.

Which reminds me I'll be at the NYC con next weekend. Should be a good time. Looking forward to seeing Joe Kelly again. I'm more interested in meeting Ross Campbell and maybe having him sketch something for me. That would be fresh. Gotta get a sketch book this week.
How does a DIG video remind me of the convention?
Cause Miike will be there friday signing shit. Joss Whedon himself is gonna show up on sunday. This is all well and good, but it's on days I'm not gonna be there! Fuck!
