live in one of the countries worst ghettos for the duration of their
campaign. Im talking months with no body guards or anything. And the
only income he gets is from what social services gives them. If they can
survive that I may consider voting. And who knows? We may actually get
something done to fix the situation once they're in office.
I finished the final season of Battlestar Galactica yesterday and I
have to say it was an excellent way to end an excellent show in the post
Buffy years we live in. For four years that show maintained its high
quality of politcal and religious intrigue mixed with space opera like
setting and personal triumphs and tragedies. The show was that great
blend of depression and joy I look for in any show I watch.
Speaking of shows ending, last nights episode of the Shield kicked
it in to high gear and I can't wait for next weeks episode. While the
show has never reached that same mix that I spoke of above it has held
my interest for the last seven years by sheer force of coolness and the
"oh my god how are they gonna get out of this one" scenario season after
season.
New shows have started up such as Heroes which for me started out
very poorly. So many thing happend that I have a problem with, but Im
hoping against hope that Jeph Loeb and crew pull something out of their
collective asses to get this show back on track. Last season left a sour
taste in my mouth and I don't want a repeat of that.
Going to PA this weekend for some drunken fun and relaxing. Can't wait
but I already know sundays gonna suck because I have to come back.
This job of mine has gotten a little easier in some respects but I
still can't imagine doing this for a living. How could anyone? I've
been chased by dogs, seen kittens with one eye, been yelled at almost on
a daily basis for bills being to high, and treated worse then when I was
in retail. Dear god put me behind a register again where I actually
know what im doing.
I would love to have three extra hours of the day just to read. I
also would like to be awake for those three hours.
